Artist Laura Wells, the story behind the Grace Jewelry

“Two years ago I was invited to sell my jewelry at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara for an event called "Art and Wine for a Cure" for "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer." After meeting those involved, and people touched in so many ways by this disease, I became very impressed with the positive energy that was produced from something negative. Amazing strength, hope, faith and grace illuminated from these individuals. While I was physically not touched by breast cancer, this positive strength from others has inspired me as an artist to create the "Grace" jewelry. "Grace" is not only an adjective that describes the way in which these ladies live their lives, but is also my grandmother’s and daughter's name. I am pleased to work exclusively with Artchestra.com on the "Grace" jewelry project.  Their generosity towards this cause and artful eye is a rare and powerful combination.”
