When the artist saw this beautiful Wolf's Eye cabachon, a hike through the nearby redwoods came to mind: sun streaming through the trees like golden bolts of soft lightning.  She has set it amongst the trees with a forest sprite in this Fine Silver (.999) brooch.  Wolf's Eye is a form of Tiger Eye that is sort of a cross between Hawk's Eye (blue tones) and the more common golden Tiger Eye.  This stone has a very dark teal cast to it with the gold streaks.  Sterling Silver pin back.
