A sandy beach and the red glow of dawn are depicted in this pair of earrings. Several flat square shell beads are caught in the embellishment loops reiterate the seaside theme. Peacock Swarovski bicones and iridescent black seed beads represent the departing velvet of nighttime.

These earrings are woven in the Russian variation of Peyote stitch using the highest quality Japanese seed beads.  This results in a lovely drape the artist calls "Shawl Style."  For comfort and security the artist uses sterling silver Slipless French earwires.
